Trinity Poem by James Royster

Trinity

There's more to me than meets the eye.
What you think you see is probably a lie.

Inside this frame there lies three hearts.
You could say I am broken into multiple
parts.

One part is the invisible mask that I wear
when I'm out.
It's with this mask that I ease people of
their doubts.

The second part is what my close friends see.
They think that this is the 'True' me.

The third part is a part that you have yet to see.
This part is reserved for I, Myself, and Me.

It longs to be expressed,
but this part isn't like the rest.

I have three parts and each is equal and
true.
Unfortunately for me you only know about two.
