Troubles In Love Poem by Thomas DuBois

Troubles In Love

Rating: 1.0

My dear sweet love
I have so many problems
I know you understand me
Better than anyone
You have the same problems I do

With love I find peace but
With me I still feel lost
I have a hole deep inside
It comes up from time to time
My problem can’t be expressed in words
Yet you know what I mean

I wish I could shake it
Make it go away
I want my love
So deep and so wild
To make it disappear
Till it does, I’ll just think of you
Think of kissing you
And holding you close

In my heart I hold you dear
Even though my mind sometimes makes you
Seems so far, it’s hard to see your face
I know you’re their, and it pulls me though
Each time I remember, how much
I love you

Hi Thomas, Young love! Very sweet and painful. I tried to read your poem with a Texas accent. It was very good (the poem, not my accent) . You might want to amend the spelling errors. There are a few of them I noticed in the last stanza. Apart from that I really enjoyed it and felt the passion and pain you were expressing. Thanks Gyp's
