True Friends Poem by Amy Kerswell

True Friends

I have some true friends.
A bird charlie the canary.
Churping away and sining.
Cats puring and loving.
A dog nudging my arm.
rabbits jumping up at me.
Guinneapigs squeaking at me.

Its as if they no.
How I feel inside.
As soon as Im sad.
Charlie churps away
All 3 cats purr.
The dog comes for a cuddle.
The guinneapigs squeak.
And the rabbits jump up.

Its as if they are trying to tell me something.
lkie they want me here.
Mabey they need me.
As they say in their own way
Dont be sad.

Its like theyre trying to say.
Live each day
We are here.
Fight it fight.
You can beat
All of your fears.
You can beat it.

You have every reason to live.
You are worth more than death.
You must live.
In their own little way
They give me this message.
Willing me to fight and live
