True Worth Poem by Randy McClave

True Worth

I noticed someone falling behind
Unto them I knew that I needed to be kind,
So, I started walking a little bit slower
Then to the side I then moved over.
Then we were side by side limb by limb,
As I walked happily beside them.

I noticed someone being ignored
Their feelings needed to be restored,
I then included them in my conversation
To them it was a celebration.
In their eyes was a glow and on their face a smile,
And it lasted more than a short while.
.
Always remind people of their true worth
Time is so very short on this earth,
That one kind and compassionate deed
Could be an answer to a prayer and need.
Remember, the kindness and the compassion that you bring,
To them that one small act could mean everything.
