Truly Loved Poem by Randy McClave

Truly Loved

Love doesn't see colors of the skin
And love doesn't ever see genders,
Love is love as it has always been
True love never sees pretenders.

Love truly is color blind
It sees only the heart and the soul,
It's a caring, loving, joyful gift signed
It makes the recipient joyous and whole.

Love is more than just a feeling
It's more than all poetic words ever spoken,
It's a spiritual and soulful healing
When true desires are finally awoken.

Love ties two souls together
From this life and unto the very next,
They are one now and they are forever
Love is never about sex.

Love will hurt, but will always remember
As a parent always loving their children,
Love starts and warms like a coals ember
As I once truly loved a woman.
