Truly, I Say Poem by Randy McClave

Truly, I Say

Truly, truly, I say unto you
These words which are biblical and true,
The hour is soon coming
Then the lord our God will be summing.
Soon he will say, "here it is"
He will then take what is his,
Then when the dead shall hear the voice
The righteous will all rejoice.
When they hear the voice of the Son of God
The universe will then be awed,
And the command the Lord does give
When they hear it, they shall all again live.
Marvel not at this
For the hour has come and it will bring bliss,
All that are in the graves shall hear
To his voice all shall come forth and adhere.
They that have done good
Because, their soul and belief said they should,
Unto them is the resurrection of life
Unto them there will be no more worries or strife.
And they that have done evil
Forgiveness for them there now is no retrieval,
They never believed of salvation
Unto them is the resurrection of damnation.
