Trump-The Enemy Within Nato Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Trump-The Enemy Within Nato

He shakes hands but pulls away,
speaks of allies yet sows division.
Promises strength, yet weakens the bond,
a fortress turning on itself.

The shield once steady now wavers,
trust frays with every word,
as old pacts become bargaining chips,
loyalty reduced to a transaction.

The whispers of rivals grow louder,
watching, waiting,
as walls rise where bridges once stood.
The enemy need not breach the gates
when chaos stirs from within.

History does not forget,
nor do those who once stood side by side.
A storm passes, but the damage remains,
and unity, once cracked,
is never the same.
