Truth - Poem by Angel Croshier

Truth is solid
As my world crumbles
You hold the truth
In your eyes

You pull me from the darkness
And into the light
The truth envelops me
But soon I disappear

The lies come at me
from all sides
I cant find the truth
no matter how hard I try

Help me through the darkness
Which has swallowed me
once more
I'm so lost and confused

The truth in your eyes
helps me find my way
without you by my side
I would be lost forever

If you ever left me
I would be so lost
Nothing would have form
Nothing would matter

The pain would crush me
crack my bones
This dagger i hold
would bring the truth again

When you are watching me
be lowered into the earth
the truth of the matter
will make sense

I'm nothing without you
You caused me to take my life
The dagger, was still clutched
in my hand when you found me

I always told you
I would die for you
I hope you forgave me
When you found me in a pool of blood

We'll never know now
Because i had to go
Even though some didn't want me to
The truth caused me too much pain

I knew the truth
behind your lies
That's why you
snapped at me

That's why we fought
That's why I'm gone
I didn't wanna lose you
But the truth is

When I killed my self
I killed us too.
