Truth Poem by Michelle Carter Douglass

Truth

Almighty God,
I raise my heart, hands and eyes 2 You.
Father God,
I love, thank and 4ever in need of You.
Opened Door 2 You.

Readers, Viewers & Family Friends
It is approximately 4: 47 am
I cannot sleep
I am not feeling well
And the serum of Candor is setting in.

Readers, Viewers & Family Friends
I cannot sleep
I am not feeling well
And the serum of Candor is setting in.
I am 44 years of age
Mmmmmm
I got a message that someone thought I was hitting up her man
Mmmmmm
I want my own
I don't share
I once refused to wait 4 that God-sent man
I paid with an earthly hell
No matter how lonely at night I get
I refuse to open that Pandora's Box.

Readers, Viewers & Family Friends
It is approximately 4: 55 am
I cannot sleep
I am not feeling well
And the serum of Candor is setting in.

I am hungry>not starving
I am cold>not freezing
I am at times wanting>but not constantly needing.

I would like to have strong arms holding me.
I would like to have that 2 am kissing.
No matter how lonely at night I get
I refuse to open that Pandora's Box.
I once refused to wait 4 that God-sent man
I paid with an earthly hell.

Male Viewer
Male Reader
Male Friend and Spiritual Brother
Love the one you got.

Female Viewer, Reader by 3rd party
get secure in who you are.
I want my own.
I stopped sharing things before I was the age of twelve.
The man that will come into my life,
I will wait 4.

Readers, Viewers & Family Friends
It is approximately 5: 04 am
I can finally go to sleep.
I still don't feel quite well
Yet, I am thankful that the serum of Candor sat in.

I am hungry>not starving
I am cold>not freezing
I am at times wanting>but not constantly needing.

I would like to have strong arms holding me.
I would like to have have that 2am kissing.
No matter how lonely at night I get
I refuse to open that Pandora's Box.

I once refused to wait 4 that God-sent man
I paid with an earthly hell.
