Try To Live Your Life In Glad Expectancy

Try To Live Your Life In Glad Expectancy

Try to live your life in glad expectancy
Today if you will my friend
Turn the corner on sin today
And trust in Jesus as Friend
Look at the love He produces
In those who trust in His name
Look around and you'll have to admit it
They' are never the same again

The drinking and the drugs are gone
Cigarettes are history
The language issue changed as well
For there's no more blasphemy
The Bible up front and centre
The new medium of choice
Hearing now the Word of God
Attuned to the Master's voice

We can't forget the music either
For now it's sanctified
Lifting up the name of Jesus Christ
For He is glorified
Hallelujah what a Saviour
Let those joybells ring
For the Lord of lords is our Christ
And praise God He's the King of kings!

Sure there may be some around you
Whose lives may not be up to snuff
But there's no failure in the Saviour
And He's loved you more than enough
He went to the Cross for my sin
And He went there for your sins too
Isn't it time for you to know Him
For today! ... He can make you brand new! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
