I will try to do it better
It is all I can promise

Because what I see
What I know
Is different than
What you understand

But I give you my word
I will try to do it better
For you

Knowing it feels like an endless battle
Neither of us can win
I can only hope
We can someday
See it differently

I keep trying
Really I do
But I falter this
I also know is true

Different souls
Caught up in what is important
Only within
Struggling everyday

Hoping, always hoping for a better ending!
