Trying Hard Poem by William McGehee

Trying Hard

Some times I find myself just...

Sitting here and listening
Writting down and singing hymns.
Try my best and wish again
That just one some would make 'em stand

That just one song would make 'em shout
Shut up the haters and their doubt
Purging all frustration out
And show 'em what I'm all about.

And show 'em now that I m for real
Young composer full of zeal
A work ethic that's hard as steele
I'll write the verse you write the deal.
