Trying To Get God Involved Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Trying To Get God Involved

Many to have learned,
Mistakes to make them...
Eventually teaches lessons.
Not to repeat,
Those lessons taught to teach.

And there are others who refuse,
To accept mistakes they have made.
With excuses to make and expect,
Others to regret...
Being incapable to forgive them,
Repeatedly.

With a claiming them not to be,
Christians of faith.
Like the ones who look the other way.
To pray faithfully.
As most Christians are taught to do.

"I could care less what you say.
Lieing on me to have your lies believed.
Repeatedly.
Is unforgivable."

-Hypocrite.
Always taking what I do personally.
Thinking it's all about you.
No one else but you complains.-

"I guess not.
They believe the lies you tell them."

-Oh.
I hear you loud and clear.
You want me to tell better lies? -

"People like you,
Will one day learn a lesson."

-Oh yeah?
And people like you are ungrateful! -

"God?
What is it that YOU,
Are teaching us? "

-There you go.
Trying to get God involved! -
