Turtle Tip Poem by Ima Ryma

Turtle Tip

A human deemed to be expert
On turtles was asked to opine
If part of an aggressive flirt,
A flip flop might be the incline
Of male to prove to the female,
By flipping her onto her back,
That she was the top of his scale,
And deserved his wooing fast track.
Then he'd reflip and aright her,
As proof of his caring intent.
The human expert was not sure.
Another expert did present.

The expert turtle did reply,
'Human behavior - who knows why! '
