Tv - Poem by Raymond Farrell

I don't own
One of these idiot boxes
But if I did
I would likely
Sit in front of it
Like some idol
As many do
And be beguiled
By this piece
Of electronic wizardy
That is without doubt
The greatest perpetrator
Of propaganda
And low grade humor
Ever invented
And for all its appeal
Ends up
Warping the minds
And tastes
Of all
Who sit too long
In front of it.

I perfectly agree with your views! Sitting long before this 'idiot box' can equally harm the body and mind! Enjoyed reading this realistic piece of poem!

If time permits, I invite you to read my poem Flash View on the same topic!
