The tentacles of the pandemic
Wreaked havoc much on the Mother Earth;
Easterners, westerners, southerners or
Northerners, all humans suffered a lot;
The phrase ‘Tested Positive' turned to be a
Year-long nightmarish performing art in 2020

To pay homage to all the departed souls,
With folded hands, let us stand a minute in silence;
Even the year 2020 just left with guilty conscience
New Year 2021 has arrived with much confidence
To set everything in the right perspective;
Yes, we the human beings are destined to go through such
Ordeals at times to strengthen our optimism;
No such adhesive is found so far that binds the worries
Eternally on the walls of human minds, so let us go ahead…
