Scores of years now lapsed since those lores
Thunder'd, shuddered and curdled my soul;
Decades roll'd, mammoth blizzards billow'd,
Gigantic events swept fields in hoarse bellows;
Deep wounds then inflected, its severe pains
Then froze me timeless yet stays green within;
The peace and strength I found inmost in pain
Steer me now forward from the eons lie across.
Exists not now the temple nor the deity within,
Demolish'd ruthless in the hands of cruel time;
But the spirit that sprouts timeless from there
Across the rolls of the endless oceanic waves
Keeps me afloat all times towards my shore;
Held in folds of peace and strength ‘midst pains,
I swim across the time's ocean with eyes shut,
So, nothing distracts me from reaching the shore.
The disastrous past and the relentless present,
Truly twin terminals that constitute single cell,
That spawns a single circuit to sprout my life,
Its pain and pleasure, and peace and turbulence;
All's mere parts in play of the single life-force;
Hands that demolish perforce know how to build,
Hands that drown can float across to the shore,
And I know, my pains hide my salvation within.
