Twisted Wisdom
The shrill sound of supersonic metal birds
The loud sounds of bombardments
The thick rising and swirling smoke
The helter-skelter scurrying of humans
The agonising cries of fear and despair
The uneasy and quiet afterwards
Is a negative manifestation of man's ingenuity.
When a fountain dishes out sweet and bitter water
The later invariably corrupts the former
To make the fountain unfit for pleasurable drink
The mouth that blesses and curses
Cannot be reckoned as a source of succour and hope
The hand that cuddles and strikes
Cannot be trusted for a warm embrace.
One who labours daily to innovate for posterity
And also labours with vigor to destroy his creations
Portrays a big mockery of a twisted wisdom.
Let the metal birds fly for pleasure and not harm
Let the mighty fishes sail for joy and love
Let the guns stop spitting fire and hate
And let the man stop destroying himself.

I think, IF my wife ever says I have 'wisdom', she will call it 'TWISTED'. Ha! stanza 1: I'd use 'shrill', not 'shrills'. stanza 2: Yes, inconsistencies of these sorts could be VERY ANNOYING and fear-provoking.
