Two compared

The dusk is meaningless
-in dark of low clouds

But the watch insists on being dusk
-was no sun to be gone but is gone

Two women are in sight
-one carries her shopping

She walked with few bags
-in the chill and the wind
-no gloves and handbag
-is hung on her right arm
-elbow-palm makes a line
-her hair light and weary
-singing song to drum
-of the cars passing by
-while waiting at red-light

Another is police officer
-behind wheel
-of grey and white car
-striped…

Relaxed she, sure is warm
-looks around

First pays tax
-low income
-second, leech
-lives on tax

Though second sees the first
-with writing on her car:
- "To serve and protect"
-first lives in the hardship
-second's mind is made of
-crystal; feeling-less…

This is how our life is
-governments' politics!
