Two Cuckoos. Poem by Konstantin Ananin

Two Cuckoos.

The cuckoos don’t sit on their eggs,
They lay them in other birds’ nests.
Once two young cuckoos met,
Greeted each other and had a chat:
- “There some cuckoo has laid an egg.”
- “And what’s in it? I know that.”
- “I wonder why you know.”
- “I laid it an hour ago.”
