I
The branches
Of a tree
Outside my
Window, zig
-Zag, criss,
Cross, in front
Of a light
-blue sky.
II
The window frame
I'm looking through
Forms a cross.
III
Behind my back
A priori stands
Tall and wide.
Fenced in its
Yard, are two
Barking dogs:
One's light,
One's dark.
Great choice of title- -draws readers because you say TWO dogs bark instead of just the dogs bark or some dogs bark.
Alex, I like philosophical poems and I think you have a good one here. In my opinion you manage to write about the nature of our knowledge of good and evil and avoid using cliches or writing a poem that turns into prose...neither of which is easy to accomplish. Thank you for reading and commenting on my poems. Ron
