Two Dolphins Cry For Help Poem by Stephen Katona

Two Dolphins Cry For Help

Rating: 3.0

A dog called Turbo ran away,
From Dogwood Drive one day,
To see his friends in the sea,
Two dolphins at a nearby quay.

They passed a ball to one another,
Until there was a spot of bother.
Turbo made a great splash,
Now his escape seemed rather rash.

There was danger from his fall,
Around the water was a wall,
Preventing him from getting out,
Of this, there was no doubt.

The dolphins forgot all thought of toys,
And called for help with much noise.
Squeaks and splashes so loud,
They hoped to draw a human crowd.

By chance two people heard the commotion,
They'd never seen such frantic emotion.
Sam and Audrey were looking to fish,
Instead they helped a dolphins' wish,
Replying to the dolphins' chatter,
What could be the matter?

Start to finish for this scene,
Number of hours fifteen.
Both animals I admire,
Their love and will did not tire.
