Two Inquisitive People Poem by Marilyn Shepperson

Two Inquisitive People

Rating: 5.0

Two inquisitive people came to my house
Invesigated the dining room and the lounge
Tipped the cushions on the floor and emptied the bins
Before going into the bathroom to discover towels
However their antics in there soon bored them
So they went into the conservatory instead
Where plants in pots made a smashing noise
Bringing down earth, what a lovely surprize
But the garage they found was out of bounds
The door having been locked, before they arrived
Therefore back into the house once more
To totally wreck the understairs cupboard
Before going upstairs into the bedrooms
To leap on the bed and have play fights
Till the covers were all every which way, but tidy
But now I called them down for supper
Finally full fed, they laid down together
Two little kittens curled up in front of the fire.
