Two lover's meet when daylight ends,
To meet once more when day begins.
Two lover's meet with fleeting touch;
Their love, this moment wins.
And though the whole word down below,
May see their love as it unfolds.
Yet just a few will smile and sigh,
As their love then tolls.
But then, when down into the sea,
Their sorrow's felt, in slow degree.
Their love, it sinks down deep within
Into obscurity
