Two Loves That May Never Meet Poem by Rick Elpers

Two Loves That May Never Meet

Rating: 5.0

Meeting words to words
Strolling through a garden of
Pleasantries, we explore
Heartful exchanges
Wondering who we are
Smiling, holding inner truth
With trust that is bonded in
The delight of poetry
Springing from gods desire to have
Us express himself through
Our lives, as we have lived them
Finding you finding me
Fate has conspired to join
The paths that even should we
Never meet, cross across the
Avenue of words
