Two Roads Poem by Barry Middleton

Two Roads

Rating: 5.0

I have come to a fork in the road
each path is a mystery
on the right is a green woodland
a reminder of my childhood home
the hills are alive with adventure
everything is moving in this place

on my left is barren wasteland
the road stretches off to the sea
where the seagulls cry their tears
the wind rattles the palm fronds
and the sun sinks into the horizon
in a lifeless scarlet blaze of sunset

Coming in to fork of a road amazes mind. You are right. Each path is very mysterious definitely. The right path carries green woodland. A lifeless scarlet blaze of sunset tells us about true message of life and death. Very nicely crafted poem is shared here...10

Do prefer, dear Bary, the one leading to the green woodland and stay there for two more decades.Wait there till time expires and then let someone else lead you to the other one.So you will enjoy both...

I am afraid I must consider both roads right now, one is behind me forever and the other is coming. I just don't know when. I thank you foe the good wishes.
