Two Shall Become One Poem by Rhodesse Fanche

Two Shall Become One

Rating: 5.0

The promise echoes, two souls together,
But here I am, alone, with my troubles.
They say the two will become one,
But what about my needs and wants?

Do you think about my desires, my inner fire?
Or are you only focused on yourself?
They say the two will become one,
But in my loneliness, I want more.

Is this house yours, dear love, or ours?
Does our wealth bring us together, or just you?
Is it your land, our land, a shared home?
The two will become one, but I am alone.

It's all about your wants, an unwavering way,
But what about my passions, my dreams?
Do you know my heart's song, its rhythm?
Do you care about my hopes and pains?

The two will become one, a divine harmony,
But I am adrift, a lonely star.
In our shared home, I long to be near,
Yet we are strangers, lost in harshness.

The two will become one, united in love,
But I am left wanting, seeking comfort.
Please, my love, hear my voice in decisions,
For the two will become one, not just your way.

We live under one roof, yet you seem far away,
Like two separate souls, lost and confused.
The two will become one, an untold symphony,
But I find myself alone, a story untold.

Let the love we shared rekindle our flame,
Listen to me, when my words have a claim.
In friendship's embrace, strength will arise,
Appreciation, encouragement, where love lies.

Behind closed doors, secrets remain,
No one knows the story that unfolds.
The two will become one, by love's decree,
But in my solitude, I long for unity.

May our hearts come together, bridging the divide,
In dialogue and understanding, let love preside.
No longer shall I be a voice unheard,
For the two will become one, a symphony concurred.
