Steady Pace Poem by Rhodesse Fanche

Steady Pace

Rating: 5.0

Keep running your race,
Eyes focused ahead.
Stay in your own lane,
Mind your own tread.

Don't get distracted
By others' quick pace.
Tend to your own path,
This is your own race.

You're a work in progress,
Unfinished, not done.
But God who began it
Will see it's well run.

Don't compare yourself
To those running beside.
Your journey is unique,
In God's plan you abide.

Tune out the loud voices
Telling you to speed.
Stay true to your pace,
On your own feet proceed.

The finish line nears,
The victory is yours.
Press on with endurance,
Triumph now assures.

So press onward, my friend,
Your race to complete.
The prize waits for you
At the end of the street.
