Two Souls Poem by Marien Jacobs

During their meeting these two people now face,
These two souls united in times open space.
Two souls, together, absolutely captivate.
Some may wonder if it’s ordained or merely fate.

And some might question or even debate
If God was too early or even too late?
The time slot scheduled to this perfection
If its Gods hand, or Satan’s' deception?

But in heaven there's no confusion
Not even a second thought intrusion
About the fate of His ordained grace,
As He put their life’s puzzles into place.

Binding them together with love as they meet,
Chatting in the starlight, meeting at His feet,
Surrounded by natures beauty in the shadow of the mount,
A threefold cord was created as they sit there on the ground.

This threefold cord was needed for the time they need to face,
Nine months apart, separated by time and space.
They greet with a hug on their visits last eve,
For it's but a week, then he must again leave.

Contact only through letters and mail,
Will time take its toll, will this new love fail?
Will feelings of love stay constant each day?
Will love grow cold or grow day by day?

Love over distance was a hard price to pay,
The months weren’t easy, needless to say.
The missing became more, the longing intense,
The view of each other through a more precious lens.

The nine months gave birth and beauty unfold,
Together again, unspeakable joy told!
Facing the future together ahead,
No more alone, united instead!

Millions of memories together they make,
Feels like a dream, just that they're awake.
Moment together, so special, they share,
Time may stand still, they wouldn't care.

Loving each other, its like breathing pure air,
Moments apart they can hardly bear.
Secure in each other’s deepest love and trust,
It makes one stand fast, even in the strongest gust.

Waiting as God let all fall into place,
Longing for the day to say 'I do' face-to-face.
Two soul mates to be united, as life mates till they die,
Their lives giving glory to their God on high!

A love like this only God could create,
Timing so perfect, not too early, not too late,
Only God can be thanked for a bond so strong and deep?
My love you’re a life’s treasure for our hearts to keep!
