Typhoid Cycles Unique Hells Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Typhoid Cycles Unique Hells

ascended fevered
two flights
of mammoth stairs

on glass legs
splintered shards
sticks drained powerless

acute bones aches
never ending faint tired
sleeping endless hours

oceanic cycle sleeps
wake shaky to urinate
immediately rehydrate

delirious pass days
endured in sleep bliss
depression confused dawns

fever breaking starts
no deep sleep retreats
strength awake curses

rendered bed ridden spells
typhoid cycles unique hells
brain like scrambled eggs

hurts aches brain eyes
for recovery numb days
medicated man mumbles

rested bored patients
not feeling much bliss
hope to raise tomorrow

best wishes seed dreams
medicated rested bored
enjoying final extra rests

prepare body mind muscles
for challenge return work face
life normal responsibilities
