Tyrannosaurus Rex Poem by Sophie Allyah

Tyrannosaurus Rex

Before their time ceases to exist
They had lived 66 to 68 million years ago
In Cretaceous period as the dominant species
Debatably they are either fast or slow

But one thing's for sure they're carnivorous
They are truly an apex predators
Be a carnivorous, omnivorous, or herbivorous
They only live to kill and eat fellow dinosaurs

Their height ranges from 3.7 to 6.1 meters
These prehistoric monsters are non feathers
They weigh 4,500 to 14,000 kilograms
A part of tyrannosaurids based on diagrams

With 30 years of duration headstrong
Their length is about 40 feet long
Their name was taken from the Latin word rex
Meaning king, for they really are in aspects
