Headbourne Worthy 1978:

Very large circle pressed firmly to the ground and swirled clockwise.
The farmer had seen one in 1976 about 6.5 metres diameter.
In both cases, a UFO was seen 7 weeks later flying in low skies.
Every summer since then, circles have appeared there about.

Goodworth Clatford 1985:

Five circles, one large in corn clockwise, larger was 12 metres across,
smaller were 3.6 meters,43 paces from center. Three of the smaller round
ones had a circular track through their centers. Here the plants were dipped
over at their heads. A luminous white jelly-like substance was found
in the large circle. It was tested at two labs, but could not be identified.

6-July-1985:

Pat and Jack Collins reported a UFO to police: A huge circular object
like a "funfair wheel". It had lots of yellowy-white lights around the edge
and along the spokes. The next day 5 circles were found at Matterly Farm,
and 5 more were found later. The 2 circle sites and the UFO are alleged
to form a straight line. An identical UFO was seen by 4 people between
circle fields in 1982 near Warminster.

Upper Farm, Headbourne Worthy 1986:

An almost true counter-clockwise circle 17.4 metres diameter. The farmer,
Simon Brown, said circles have been appearing in one of his fields for the past
28 years. The hoaxers Doug Bower and Dave Chorley claimed to have started
crop circles in 1978. Colin Andrews saw a small grey-colored disk going fast
on the way there. It darted behind a cloud.

Kimpton 1987:

A young man said he had seen an orange glowing object over the field
behind the cemetery on 13 June at 10: 30 PM. Two people had heard
odd noises coming from the field. A single oval ring 60 cm wide in wheat
& barley was found,10.2m by 8.9m. Plants were flattened outward
radially on the outer edge, and inward on the inner edge. Between was
a line of buckled plants with broken stems. On a later investigation
by Colin to see a new circle, there was a black flash that blotted out the sun
for a fraction of a second. Later that day they took the family Dalmatian
near the circle. It stopped abruptly. When coaxed toward the center,
it vomited and became quite ill. Back in the car it improved rapidly.
Colin went back in the evening and was frightened by a static electrical
cracking noise that lasted about 6 seconds. For several days an elderly
couple heard warbling, humming-like noises coming from the field.
