i 'saw' the food immediately. it took me a while to 'get' the humor! i think i first had gefilte fish at my first in-laws' home in West Orange NJ. not as bad as it looked in the jar (like a spoiled museum collection jar!) . i may not have had it since my last visit there. and my first sushi may have been at a restaurant my fourth wife took me to (Japanese wife) . the same (fourth) and i walked a couple of miles or so from her girlfriend's home in Japan to a wasabi farm; there we had wasabi ice cream; not bad. well, it WAS ice cream after all! i think they also sold wasabi French fries. first horseradish might have been where i first ate first gifilte fish. but i still don't quite 'get' the title. bri ;)
