Unbearable Load Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Unbearable Load

I don't want to die
In Sinai
In sand heaps
And keep

How many may still bleed?
For further greed
For wrong insistence
And adamant reliance

Still not in sight
To feel right
Even though guns are silenced
The rockets are not fired

The death rap may open again
With lots of deaths and pain
Both sides suffer
What have I in store to offer?

I wish to rise from sand tomb
And climb
As high as I can
And cry then

Let world here about agony
As not wish from almighty
We all claim allegiance to God
Then why cause this as an unbearable load
