Undeclared War Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Undeclared War

Rating: 5.0

Face blown away
No more parades
No more hoorays
In a hospital for months
The frontline is over
Time to think away from the bull
Why did I go in?
The poet warrior crap
Heroes
Now I see a politician’s war

He whispers in pain
My brother
Don’t join
