Some people are still mad
Because, they can't make me sad,
Even after about me they have lied and did cuss
Then they threw me under the bus.
I have been tricked and judge and lied to
By, people who say they love you,
They have gossiped all about me
But, God knows the truth when he looks to see.
They try to ruin my name and my reputation
While with others they try to build a lying relation,
Saying or pretending that I'm a bad person
While they are constantly hateful and cursin'.
Through God and honesty, I have survived
And I have happily and smilingly soulfully thrived,
While they hoped that I wouldn't
While telling and boasting to others I couldn't.
I was taught one valuable thing
With or without a ring
I never want to feel like i'm begging for someone's love, ever
To live that type of life again, never.
I was the one they said that was to fault
So, their torment about me never once did halt,
If as though they were trying to get even
And I never lied or cheated or robbed for any thought or reason.
They never knew who the driver of the bus was
It wasn't hate or lies, but it was driven by truth and love,
They threw me under the bus to their joyful cries
But, the bus instead ran over all of their lies.
