Under The Guise Of Love Poem by james watkin

Under The Guise Of Love

Hearts, lamented. Rush more and more
To embrace their oppressors.
Those who once dashed, free and freer
Or seemed to, as the winger.

Birds' kindred joy; with butterflies,
Jocund-wanton, kindship held
For childs' free-born spirits. Marriage
Does as recluses then cage.
