Unendless And Speedy Flight Poem by Liza Sud

Unendless And Speedy Flight

Rating: 5.0

I don’t like any communications:
They disturb me from talk to God,
They distract me from inner spaces,
from unendless and speedy flight.

I'm reminded of a story from ISLAM: God tells Moses to tell humanity they must pray to him 50 times a day. Moses replies, Lord, I know these humans you created. They will never be able to fulfill this commandment.Well, the two them agree upon 5 time a day and then God makes his promise that prayer 5 times daily will be sufficient for salvation. This story is the exact opposite of one like THE PILGRIM who recites the Jesus Prayer 12,000 per day. All religions I've studied include this range of human response, simply because not all of us are saints. But Mystics and Saints who desire God's presence RIGHT NOW! will pray 50 times a day. I had an aunt who belonged to an order of nuns who did just that: They prayed all day for the sake of those not praying all day.

It is so sad that others and illusion disturb us from talking with God and we do not like disturbances in communications. Thought provoking poem shared here is. From speed flight if they distance is sad but we hope this speedy flight on meditation will take up to god to communicate. Very nice and interesting poem....10
