I have always been afraid of rejections,
afraid to give my heart away.
I would be left regretting
the words I was not brave enough to say.
Love just was not for me.
I could never catch a break.
But then you came into my life
and my heart was your to take.
You were so perfect
and you took me by surprise.
Your sweet smile seduced me.
You had me memorized.
The moment we kissed
I knew why I never felt love before.
When God brought me you,
He gave me everything I wished for.
Let me hold you forever
And show you a love so true.
No words can explain the unexplainable.
That's how I feel about you.
