Unfaithful Women (Lorca)

You brought her on the river
thinking she was a girl.
I brought it to my heart
and I knew she was married.

You ran all night with her
on the mare mother of pearl.
I'm just dreaming
dream of forbidden love.

She lied you gently and wistfully
me a cruel and harsh.

Every lie is the same.
Always ends up in a sad song
which could have been cheerful.

Ti si je doveo na rijeku
misleći da je djevojka.
Ja sam doveo do srca
a znao sam da je udata.

Ti jurio svu noć s njom
na kobili od sedefa
a ja sam samo sanjao
san o zabranjenoj ljubavi.

Tebe lagala nježno i sjetno
a mene okrutno i grubo.

Svaka laž je ista.
Uvijek završi u tužnoj pjesmi
koja je mogla biti vesela.
