Unholy Bloodbath - Poem by Ricky Lewis

Suffering in the womb of Elohim, damned and diseased
An empire with foundations planted in the soil of ignorance
A perfect creation defiled through rape and perjury
A vengeful lords wrath composed vile dissonance

Above and below, molested by sin
Blessings cast through filthy holy water
Crying for salvation, rapture and cleansing
Deemed unworthy in the eyes of holy father

Grasping the hand of God
Clutching the hand of Satan
Crush them together in furious wrath
Stigmatic existence proven infertile
As I make each suffer in unholy bloodbath

Spurned from dirt and rib, joined as one,
Forsake his all righteous reign, and it is done
Cast out evil, clawing at your heart, in its place a serpent
Grasping for the edge of sanity a new god to invent

Virgin sun gives birth to new day blasphemous generation
A collective mind recites, a genesis and revelation
Process the guilt of a stillborn savior at your altars of revulsion
Shrieking at your impotent god, suffer for fairy tale compulsion

Grasping the hand of God
Clutching the hand of Satan
Crush them together in furious wrath
Stigmatic existence proved infertile
As I make each suffer in unholy bloodbath

A very accurate reading embodying passion and insight. A battle best watched from the safety of the sideline but I fear war erupted in heaven long before it appeared on earth. Angels battled and millions fell. You and I are caught and bound within a corrupted world. As rational thinking feeling, intelligent artists we are damned. Driven within earth's vibrations thundering. Free to choose to embrace darkness or light. (Report) Reply
