Uniting In Snows Poem by Soumili Karmakar

Uniting In Snows

Bridges collapse and new roads are leading to our destination,
Wheels of a chariot is delaying
For bestowing our glorious winter to share sweet essences for an awaiting unification.
Birds all around are twittering when pearly snows are floating away,
Paddling ducks are waiting for spring where trunks are bending low beside the bay.
The lake is frozen, wish was the time,
Wish I could play our favourite songs and rewind.
Is there a way to go to my blooming field?
Is there a night longing for some mist to yield?
Except in eyes full of dreams where snowflakes wished to fall on pines
Somewhere the old ones know,
It is the holy river they missed
That flow while singing hymns.
From right side of the cave till the peaks, mine heaven glows.
Did you see the bunch of wildflowers who welcomed and bowed?
Where one is standing behind the woods,
And Angels are keeping an eye from behind the clouds,
Revelations can make this day true,
What was long hidden in the crowds. I endeavoured to listen that whistling blow.
A lustrous metal inside my heart
Shuttering the windowpanes and blurring the pointed dart.
I somehow did see,
Why would I lie, if all I fancy about my wintry lee?
Why did you had to say, ' the night will be long, and there's nothing in those midnight songs? '
I had my beliefs written in the stars,
You shall not know now, whether vales loved them even the sound was high enough for you to want.
Rising is the morning bay,
Fallen leaves swore to float in passing days.
I shall listen to the rhymes,
They are companions of snow talking about you in all their climes.
