Unknown Sins Poem by Ro Price

Unknown Sins

Enough wrong seen
Enough wrong done
Never had the courage
to make it undone.
The sins of watching
made me sinner than the doer.
But i watched and watched,
listened,
and just listened.
Now i realise
I am the nefarious one,
thinking of resting my soul in heaven
When it deserves hell darker than raven.
Now i realise
The unknown deeds
I once did,
making me feel a guilt
do deep.
Enough wrong seen
Enough wrong done
It's time for me to be
brave and wake up.
This soul searches
for absolution,
Pleas the heaven
to forgive.
Knowing its retribution
is yet to begin,
Knowing,
Its reprisal yet awaits.
