Unnerved The Soul Melted - Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Unnerved
The soul
Melted
In the wry winds
Of cold and
Winter blasts.

In the wild waves
Spuming
And white
The fondness of the
Earth mirrored
Itself.

In the hug of
The bastions
Flowed the streams
Of passing centuries
That passed too
Those too
The flow
