Unpleasant Spring Poem by Solomon Senxer

Unpleasant Spring

Rating: 5.0

I have been waiting for the spring
But oh! What does it bring?
Maybe a wrong place have I been to
Though this sky remains clear and blue.
Life is not cozy in winter and summer!
Now, I shall wait eagerly for September,
Unbeknown, whether it comes with grief or laughter!

I remember my motherland,
Without a question you understand.
There are four seasons in a year:
Spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
With the winter you hope for the spring;
With the summer you wait for autumn to sing!
With the farmers in celebration and thanksgiving!

The hot air here laments me of my land,
Where cool breeze of thrill enables you to stand
Even when the scorching sun beats your face.
My motherland must be the earth's coolest place!
The spring is already in the air,
And life has not been very fair;
But I will not spend my time in despair!
