Unraveled Desires Poem by April Humason

Unraveled Desires

In this chemistry we ignite,
Yet jealousy still dims my light,
Lust, my foe, I try to fight,
Sex becomes my therapy, my respite.

We undress, hearts in a mess,
Your charm, I can't suppress,
In our recess, we caress,
But I crave more, I must confess.

There's much to explore,
Desire leaves me wanting more,
My hormones, an uproar,
Till the next encore we implore.

Time escapes, no chance to rewind,
Life of desire, a path we find,
For you, I yearn, I'm entwined,
Craving you, my heart's entwined.

Jealousy festers, a constant strain,
Time's constraints, a source of pain,
In overdrive, my passions reign,
Controlled by desire, this wild terrain.
