Unsaid Goodbye Poem by Prachi Agrawal

Unsaid Goodbye

I don’t bother you anymore
Your eyes don’t distract me some more
I don’t irritate you like before
And we talk no more.

You were like an open book to me
But now you’re a hidden treasure
Unfortunately there’s no alibi
For this heart breaking unsaid goodbye.

This unseen protest of mine
Can only be felt by me
Why can’t you listen to me?
I’m shouting your name
Over and over again.

Though the rain has washed away my tears
It is still my biggest fear
Maybe it’s the last time
That I’m calling for you
If you can’t hear me this time
I think it will turn into
An unspoken, unsaid goodbye.
