Unseen Distant Bay Poem by L MILTON HANKINS

Unseen Distant Bay

Sometimes the sun sets across an unseen distant bay
Sending rays of dawn across its sparkling ripples
I sit at table watching it drop below the horizon
Knowing it is gone until the morning sun arises

Sending rays of dawn across its sparkling ripples
Silhouette a lonely schooner harbor bound
Knowing it is gone until the morning sun arises
While I breakfast on another favorite sound

Silhouette a lonely schooner harbor bound
I sit at table watching it drop below the horizon
While I breakfast on another favorite sound
Sometimes the sun sets across an unseen distant bay

Lovely. Pantoums have the emotional impact of reinforcing an emotion.
