When We Met Poem by L MILTON HANKINS

When We Met

Rating: 3.7

The hint of love-mist in our eyes
My whispered hello, your perfumed sighs

The fleeting moments when we met
Linger with us, Love, and yet

Though fonder moments still we dare,
Those first remain the best we share.

That is so sad. I'm so sorry to hear that is happening so frequently, and glad to know it is not a personal experience.

The hint of love-mist in our eyes, a nice start. One thing about your comment on my poem " And She Was Raped" , it's not a personal experience but it has been happening frequently in India and Pakistan.
