Jr. Cuyam

Unseen Light

There's a light in each one of us
Yet the world is filled with darkness
We sing and talk about hope
Yet people around us are prisoners of disbelief
We speak and proclaim freedom with our mouth
But we're bound and dreary inside and out

There's a light inside of me and you
The world is dark because we refuse to glow
The songs of hope, we only sing them for ourselves
People walk in darkness because we don't lead them
We speak of freedom but we're chained and ashamed
There's a light inside of us and it remained unseen
